The Real Reason You're Not Getting The Results You Want!

If your business is struggling, there’s only one scary but necessary place to look: the mirror.

Who wants to hear that? That sucks!

When things suck, we want to hear that “it’s gonna be okay.” True, it will be okay, and you will survive.

… but do you want okay, or do you want something different?

When I was younger, I watched something happen that has stuck with me to this day…

There was this orange tree that gave my mom frustration to the point of an ulcer.

It refused to produce anything but bitter fruit.

Year after year, it produced only bitter oranges.

No matter how much she hoped for sweeter fruit, it never changed—until my mom grafted a branch from another tree that produced the type of oranges she wanted onto it.

It took time, but eventually, the fruit completely transformed.

*What was, at one time, bitter became sweet—*something we looked forward to every day for breakfast.

It may sound simple, but it’s a powerful example of how leadership works.

You can’t expect a thriving business if the root—the leadership—is weak. If your employees aren’t meeting expectations, if customer service is inconsistent, if sales are down, don’t just blame the fruit. Fix the tree.

As a Leader:

1️⃣ Know Yourself (Look in the Mirror): What fruits are you producing? Is your staff or team delivering what your vision is? Are you attracting the clients you want?

2️⃣ Cut It Off: Sometimes, you have dead leaves or branches that need to go. Not easy, but necessary.Maybe it’s staff, habits, or even frustrating clients.

3️⃣ Grow Yourself (Educate Yourself): Graft a new branch to make your fruit better. Educate yourself. Don’t repeat past mistakes. Give yourself some new soil to feed from. Otherwise, you won’t deliver any new results.

Your business will never outgrow you.
